WOUND management

Acute Wounds (Healing Normally)
Normal ECM Synthesis: Acute wounds have a balanced extracellular matrix (ECM) production. Fibroblasts lay down collagen and other matrix components appropriately, providing a scaffold for healing. The ECM in acute wounds is not excessively degraded by enzymes, allowing proper tissue repair.

Acute wounds heal in an organized manner, with sufficient growth factors, effective cell migration (fibroblasts and keratinocytes), controlled protease activity, active angiogenesis, and timely re-epithelialization. They typically have minimal infection and resolve the inflammatory phase quickly. At RPM Medical Group, we take wound care seriously.

We promote healing as naturally as possible with the help of the latest in wound care technology and "good old loving care and compassion" for our patients.
